Maybank Championship chair talks star power, growth in the region

There are few men with goals like those of Tan Sri Dato’ Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor, chair of Malaysia’s international banking firm Maybank, who is devoting himself to bringing golf into the mainstream in Southeast Asia? He detailed his plans to grow the game in an interview with The Myanmar Times earlier this week ahead of the upcoming Maybank Open, which opens tomorrow and runs until February 12 in Kuala Lumpur.
